My best friend and his husband opened up Watch & Warrant in Luray, VA and it is amazing! The full gut renovation on the building has brought it back to its former glory and it is one of my favorite buildings I have come across since I was a kid, so it’s such a cool full circle moment to see them breathe new life into this historic piece of architecture.
Our big group of friends went out there for dinner on Friday night and the restaurant was packed. The staff makes you feel like family and made sure we were taken care of. The bartenders make amazing cocktails and are true professionals.
The food was delicious, eclectic and showcased some of my best friend’s Icelandic heritage. The crab cakes were amazing and weren’t junked up with a bunch of filler ingredients. Definitely order the charcuterie board! The fish and chips were amazing and I also highly recommend the venison sausage.

Next time you are out for a day trip to the Shenandoah or renting an AirBnB for a weekend getaway, stop by the restaurant to indulge yourself!
